Clearing Your Cache

Learn how to clear your browser cache and why it can resolve common issues.

Why Clear Your Cache?

Your browser stores parts of websites — like images, scripts, or styles — to help them load faster the next time you visit. But sometimes, this cached data becomes outdated and can cause:

  • ❌ Pages not updating properly
  • ❌ Login issues or being logged out unexpectedly
  • ❌ Styling glitches or broken layouts
  • ❌ Missing buttons or outdated UI
  • ❌ Links not redirecting as expected

Clearing your cache forces your browser to download a fresh version of the page.

When Should You Do It?

  • After a ti-ny.link update or new feature release
  • If something looks broken or doesn't load correctly
  • When support tells you to try a "hard refresh"
  • If you’re switching between accounts and things feel buggy

Tip: Do a Hard Refresh First

Before fully clearing cache, you can try a hard refresh:

  • Windows: Ctrl + F5
  • Mac: Cmd + Shift + R

This reloads the page without using the cache — it often fixes small issues without clearing everything.
